(Los Angeles) January 22nd Firepower Records is set to release Willy Joy and Proper Villains’ collaborative project “One More Night” on February 3rd, and with vocal support by Metric Man, this track is a futuristic heavy Trap anthem ready for the festival stage.

“One More Night” expertly balances classic dance music elements, progressive synth inspired wall-of-sound approaches to Trap production, and minimalist sound philosophies. But as the track moves forward, it builds on itself and sucks the listener into a full on audio assault. All of the sound designs crash together in intoxicating waves of rhythm that will no doubt translate into visceral reactions by bodies on the dance floor.

Firepower foot soldier Infuze gives the track a Future Rave remix, and the result is a heavy, bass forward experimental face-melter. Infuze has never shied away from fighting on the front lines of genre experimentation, and his remix of “One More Night” proves he’s the man for the job.

“One More Night” is the culmination of countless amounts of combined work hours and invaluable life experiences. Jonathan Shulman, aka Proper Villains, has been blowing up dance floors with his unique take on bass music since the days of lugging crates of vinyl to raves and loft parties in the Guiliani era of the late 90’s and early 2000’s. His name is synonymous with a distinctly New York sensibility: aggressive yet accessible. He seamlessly blends elements of underground sounds like Dubstep, Electro-House, Moombahton with Hip-Hop and a smattering of Pop Music. As a result, his DJ sets are borderline unbelievable—a quality that keeps him in high demand.

Chicago partymaster Willy Joy is quite unclassifiable. Known for his heavy bass productions steeped in the traditions of rap, house and juke, his DJ sets and original productions have been packing sweaty dance floors across the country—from major festivals like Lollapalooza to illegal warehouse raves to the Mad Decent block parties. Today’s top producers such as Dillon Francis and Flosstradamus have remixed his songs, and they are played by the likes of Diplo, Adventure Club, Crookers and BBC Radio 1. Willy represents the eclectic new sound of dance music coming out of the “Windy City”.
